Giovanna Grix
Legal Assistant
As a Legal Assistant at Beach Cities Estate Law, Giovanna works closely with our team to guide clients through the estate planning process. She assists with the preparation of trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, real property deeds, and other estate planning documents, while helping manage client files, coordinate document executions, and ensure matters progress smoothly from consultation through signing.
Giovanna graduated magna cum laude from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, earning a B.A. in English with a minor in History. She served as Secretary of the College of Liberal Arts Student Diversity Committee, working with students and faculty from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Along with her role as an International Welcome Ambassador, these experiences strengthened the communication, organization, and interpersonal skills she brings to her work today.
Giovanna is a valued member of our team, helping clients navigate what can often be a sensitive and deeply personal process with care, compassion, and attention to detail. Her dedication helps provide clients with peace of mind and exceptional support every step of the way.
In her free time, you’ll find her singing and songwriting, often harmonizing the melodies of whichever song pops up in the shuffle. You’ll also find her playing soccer every Sunday, a sport she’s played (albeit intermittently) for 15+ years; you’ll catch her practicing hot yoga and cycling along the coast as well. As a native Angeleno, you might find her exploring all that the city has to offer: soaking in the sun at the beach and collecting seashells, going for a hike, and, of course, starting off her day at whichever coffee shop catches her eye!
Aside from exploring the outdoors, you’ll see Giovanna trying her hand at new recipes– a meal for her isn’t fully satisfying unless the heat level’s so high, it’s making her sweat! She loves hanging out with her younger sisters, scouring estate sales and thrift shops for vintage clothing and decor, or cozying up with a new book. She also loves to travel, and is always looking forward to what other city, state, country, and/or continent she can visit next.
